Newcastle International Airport takes its role in managing and reducing the impact it has on the environment very seriously and came to us for a solution to its waste management.
As well as introducing recycling facilities for its passengers, we implemented a programme for recycling that was accessible to the retailers. An onsite waste and recycling depot for glass, plastic, paper, cardboard and aluminium cans has been created to give the Airport more control over its waste output.
Reports are now produced on a monthly basis, allowing the Airport to communicate more effectively about its environmental performance.
